    Hello everyone.

I played around with the default Kubrick design to suit my needs. I added a second sidebar, etc.

The site looks nice in IE.

In firefox, however, the first post shows up nice, then the rest of the posts appear on the bottom of the page. Do you know what would cause this? I tried shrinking the sidebar’s width, but to no avail…

    Here is the site.

    Thanks and God bless.

How does the page display in safari?

I can see the issues you are having. There are still some alignment and footer issues in IE7 too… but all should be overcome.

Have you tried reducing the size of the images, ads etc in the sidebars?
I noticed these are spilling past the end of the sidebar and might be contributing.

The only reason why they are spilling over is because I tried making the sidebar smaller in order to fix the issue.

    Before there was no spillover.

I havent yet tried it in Safari. I will try to make the widgets smaller

Does anybody else have any other input?

What stumps me is why ONE post would show up on top, and the rest on the bottom…..

Common culprits for display problems are unclosed or improperly nested div tags. Among your code errors, you do have ones with div tags. Be sure to fix the errors containing both “end tag for” and “div”.

Would anyone know which error would most probably be the culprit for this mess? To me this is a bunch of gibberish…..

    Link to error list

    Thanks

    It is:

Line 90, Column 48: end tag for “div” omitted, but OMITTAG NO was specified

Also, your text widgets are full of code errors, so try just removing them and see if the problems go away.

I will delete the text widgets.

What exactly do I have to do? Add a </div> at the place specified?

    (i.e. after the B&H ad?)

I removed what I believed to be the issue on Line 90 Column 48. (ad on top of page)

Also removed the entire second sidebar.

Nothing doing. Ahhhhhh! I don’t want to start again………….

by removing the side-bars have you also removed the ads?

I think that the actual width of your ads themselves, the images, may be responsible. It was the cause for another person on these boards this week who had a similar error…

Try removing the images, reinstalling your sidebars… if it displays right.. re-add the images.. if it displays wrong… reduce the image size until they sit well within the width of the sidebars.
