• Whenever I publish a new post, firefox (1.5) prompts me “open in abiword/…?” It isn’t a big deal in this case, since the post has already happened; however, it is crippling in other cases; e.g. I cannot browse to Manage/Comments in the admin interfact, since before I get there Firefox asks me what to open the php file in. My blog is the only site I’ve seen this behaviour on (tho I don’t read any other wordpress sites, so this isn’t to say it isn’t a general wordpress issue.) Firefox 1.5/kubuntu

    anyone?

Check your file association in Windows for PHP files. You should have NO file associations for PHP files. If there are, remove it from your list.

It’s a server issue rather than client (browsers) issue, I suspect. I suppose you get that prompt from any browsers and any computer, and when you access any .php files?
