Firefox slideshow bug

Hello.
I’m using the gallery to create a header slideshow for my site.
On Chrome it works great (except responsiveness, but I’m dealing with that later, and in another thread).
But in Firefox, when loading the page, the header “expands”, showing all 4 images in the header, one below the other, for 0.5 seconds or something..Before this happened, I commented out the code that loaded the “loader.gif” and set “ngg-slideshow-loader” class to display:none in css, but I have restored all that. I even tried reinstalling the plugin, but the header still does that.
Does anyone have any suggestion? Is this a known bug? (I couldn’t find anything on google).
