Firewall and stop URLs that track vulnerabilities

  • Hello Javier,

    We installed the plugin Vulnerabilities in our site. But we would like to know if the plugin has another features, like: Firewall, identify requests to the website from bots that search for files or any vulnerabilities to then attack websites. Real-time blocking of these bots, blocking of IP addresses by country, etc.

    I don’t know if this is the right plugin or if they have another one that helps us with what we are looking for with the security issue, or if you can recommend a security plugin that can help us.

    The WPVulnerability plugin is focused only on information. In my experience, if you have everything up-to-date and your hosting providers is good (has a firewall, and anti-DDOS, etc…) and you llok for the site daily, it should be sufficient.

    About “security” plugins, check the [security] plugin tag and look there. There are plenty of plugins related to this subject and each one does something different (more options, fewer…).

    In any case, if you have security issues, a plugin probably won’t fix the issue.
