When trying to use the “Visual form builder” plugin my firewall (Watchguard) says:
“Request denied by WatchGuard Firewall. Reason: IPS detected for “WEB admin.php access/Access Control”

When I look this up I get this answer: https://www.snort.org/search/sid/1301

Have you encountered this before? Have you got a solution?

A recomended action from snort.og is this:
“Disallow administrative access from sources external to the protected network.”

What is best practice for getting the plugin running in a secure manner?

Sorry, I have no idea how to help you here. I suggest contact the firewall people for help with this.

    OK, I will.
I thought you′ve heard of someone else with the same problem.

Does the plugin get access to admin.php? Does it need it? Are you changing that file in any way?

That’s a generic WordPress page that lots of plugins use. It needs it, yes.
