First and Last name importing – from pro forms

Hey,
I’m finding that the first and last name from a new signup using a pro form doesn’t import the first and last name into the wp user information.
Would anyone know a solution / reason for this?
When I head as an admin to the users profile in wp admin, I see first and last name fields are blank, despite the users obviously having completed them during the pro form sign up process.
