I am still having issues from this thread that was closed too soon by your team!

    From original thread – https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/first-class-mail-tracking-number/

I need to be able to add tracking to FIRST CLASS MAIL packages. This is a possibility on Shopify, USPS site, and many others to purchase the upgrade to add tracking to first class mail.

From reading other threads it was also available with WooCommerce before some updates.

How can I get that back so we can purchase and add tracking to First class mail shipments NOT just priority?

    Hi @megansageek,

Are you using any custom packages configured under WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping > WooCommerce Services? If so, are they marked as envelopes (this is indicated by the envelope icon next to them)?

USPS does not return tracking numbers for envelope rates. We only request and return envelope rates if the package used is defined as letter and its dimensions fit the dimensions specified by USPS at https://www.usps.com/ship/preparing-domestic-shipments.htm

I’m having the same issue with no tracking number option showing up. I’m not understanding why an envelope would not have the tracking option. The package is within the dimensions for first class (15 x 12 x .75) and under 13 oz. I did define it as a custom package because first class wasn’t showing up as an option for products if I did not. The only options are to define the package is as a box or envelope so how would I define it as a letter if that is the reason for no tracking option?

I can print first class labels fine for an envelope with tracking on etsy and by using paypal.com/shipnow. Both of those sites have tracking automatically included.

Hey @emmedesignsomaha. Could you please contact us at WooCommerce.com > My Account > Tickets? You may need to create an account. We will be able to help you further there.

I’ll mark this thread as resolved since we will have to take a look at your site setup.
