On my first class mail (usps simple) shipping when I do a demo order for a product that is 1.50 for example, the shipping is 40 cents so its a $1.90 total .The label is $3.00. So Im not making profit. How do I fix this first class calculation issue so Im making a profit? I’ve tried everything. Its not calculating right and Im not getting the discount that the usps/woocommerce shipping plugin offers

Use something like oh I don’t know LOOM? lol or take a screenshot with your computer and using Screencast and post it. Google how to take a screenshot.

Another issue I just noticed is that my taxes for the total purchase are not being done if I don’t check send to different address box. Which is odd because I noticed that certain states such as CA don’t have this issue. Can you help me with that issue please?

You can find everything you need on taxes here

Be sure to speak to your accountant on what exactly you need to collect as no one in this forum is a CPA or tax attorney and laws vary from state to state and country to country.

You went to the link I provided and made sure all the settings were correct? Right? Take screenshots of your settings then. However, that link I gave you has everything on there.

It’s very, very simple as long as your don’t overly complicate it. ????

I read the article you gave me I tried changing the Display tax totals to “itemized” instead of a single total but it won’t let me change it.

so you have to import for each state your trying to ship too? Im in Cali and it clearly says wea re set already but when I ship to other states such as Texas etc no taxes are being shown

No, you only charge tax for the state in which you are and or have annexes in. You cannot charge tax otherwise.

Again, I may have an MBA, but you need to speak to your CPA about all these questions about taxes that apply to your business directly.
