First click will follow the link not working

I set the click event in the settings for my menu to first click will follow the link (the arrow must be used to toggle sub menu visibility).

However when testing this in the frontend on my mobile phone (I only use this menu for my mobile site) and click the arrow it follows the link.

The menu is located in the mobile menu popup.

Could you help me out here?
