First CNAME for Sender Domain won’t verify

    I followed the directions exactly for verifying the sender domain. The second CNAME and the TXT verified but the first CNAME won’t verify. Here is the error message I received in DNS after trying to add the first CNAME for sender domain verification.

    The canonical name dkim1.sendingservice.net. does not resolve to an A or AAAA record.”

    I don’t know what that means or how to fix it.

    I saw another post with a similar issue and they changed some settings with cloudflare. I don’t use cloudfare. I’m with Knownhost under WordPress hosting with Plesk control panel if that info helps.

    Edit: I spoke with Knownhost support and they checked my account. They said my DNS is set up correctly and I put in the correct information based on the records given my mailpoet.

    The issue resolved itself. I guess there was a delay in Mailpoet’s system showing that the CNAME authenticated.
