I just downloaded the free version of wordfence and wanted to get the premium version. I just wanted to download the free version before setting up the premium version. The popup tutorial type thing that pops up when you go to wordfence dashboard the first time will not go away. I cant do anything because when I click the next button to go through the popups it doesnt go to next popup. What can I do to fix this? Here is a screenshot showing the popup i am speaking about- https://imgur.com/ZM3BmYo

Hello @themassapothecary and thanks for reaching out to us!

This could possibly be a browser cache issue or extension conflict. Try to open your Wordfence dashboard in a different browser, just to test it.

Also, are you running WP 5.5 or 5.5.1? There was an issue in WordPress 5.5 where jQuery Migrate, a tool which WordPress has bundled and enabled by default for many years, was turned off by default. It sometimes causes all kinds of weird behavior for all plugins if just one of them (or your theme) is still using old code. You should make sure your plugins and themes are all updated. As a temporary fix, if some of them aren’t ready for this yet, you can use this plugin to workaround the issue.

It may help to install the Enable jQuery Migrate Helper plugin below and see if the issue can be resolved:
