First Item in Post Loop Not Displaying its Featured Image

  • Hello,

    Not sure why, but on any post archive page—Posts page, Category archive, Tag archive—the first item in the post loop is rendered without its featured image.

    Upon inspecting, it seems the post-image div isn’t present at all.

    Is this a setting I need to disable? I would like the Post featured image to appear on each loop item, if it has one.

    Hey!

    I’m developing the site locally, so I can’t link to the archive page per se…

    Not sure how else I can illuminate the issue.

    If there’s no other way I can deploy the site somewhere and get a link from that.

    We have not heard of this issue before so it’s likely specific to your install.

    I would recommend disabling any custom functions or child theme you are using. If that still doesn’t help then try disabling all plugins.

    You can also test it with a Twenty series default theme.
