    Hi. Yesterday I updated to Woocommerce’s latest version. The first sale after the update had no issues, but the three that came after that have an issue, all of them show the customers first name twice, instead of first name – last name. For example, instead of John Doe i get John John.

    I’ve tried searching the forum but haven’t found similar cases.

    I am experiencing the exact same thing, the last few weeks I have been getting orders coming in with two first names. Not every order is affected, for me it’s approximately 1 out of 8 orders are coming in with two first names. I have multiple WooCommerce stores and I am seeing it across all of them.

    I’m glad to see that I am not the only one impacted by this and am hoping someone can respond with a bit of a resolution to this.

    At least now I know that it’s not just me having this issue. I am also getting the error intermittently.

    Hi @attd,

    I understand that you and @cwhebert are experiencing sporadic issues where first names are repeated twice on orders (e.g. John John vs. John Smith). I can only imagine how frustrating this issue must be!

    I haven’t come across this issue yet with WooCommerce 5.8.0, and I’m not seeing that any open or closed issues on our public GitHub repository that match this issue.

    I’d like to get a better idea of how your site is configured. Could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

    We’re also experiencing this issue, and haven’t yet found a way to reproduce it. It is affecting quite a few customer orders.
