I’m sorry about that. But I didn’t pay for it. When I looked for other websites when I first put up WordPress it was one of the sites returned in the search. I wasn’t asked to pay for it or asked to go Pro like other professional themes you get on WordPress.

If you acquired it for free, you may have gotten it from an illegal warez site. Not only does that not financially support the theme’s designer, but themes from such sites often include malware.

I recommend purchasing the theme for just $30 and replacing the copy on your site, not only so you can support the theme’s designer, but also so you can get support for them. (otherwise, you’re just asking someone here on these volunteer forums to buy the theme for $30 themselves just so they can help you for free)

Next, to clear out any malware introduced by the illegally acquired theme, carefully follow this guide. When you’re done, you may want to implement some (if not all) of the recommended security measures and start backing up your site.

I’d just like to have $30 in my pocket, but times are hard so I have to pick Themes that don’t cost anything. So I started afresh and used the twenty-seventeen theme for WordPress which doesn’t cost anything at all. But how do you change the graphics on the site other than the one with the skull and bottles?

Twenty Seventeen is very limited, it’s named for the year it came out.
