First slide doesn’t load on page load, only spinner

    The first slide in a MetaSlider using Nivo theme doesn’t load with the page load, only showing the spinner. The second slide shows fine, and if you hit the slider’s back button, the first one shows fine, and continues to show each time the slides rotate back around.

    We have EWWW set to lazy load, but when I add the skip-lazy class to the slider, there is no change.

    How can we fix this issue? Thanks for any help.

    That didn’t really apply, but I was able to exclude the slider from EWWW Lazy Load by including its class in EWWW “Basic” settings tab, “Lazy Load” section, “Exclusions” field. I found the class by using the browser “inspect” feature and looking at the individual images in the slider. In my case, they all had the class “slider-3009”.

    That did the trick, no more spinner. Thanks for steering me in the right direction!
