    Hi,

SG Optimizer works great with very low TTFB (or load of backend, between 10 and 20ms). But if page is loaded for first time, backend load time is generally very high with appr. 1.5s. This is not the case with other caching plugins (they dont have such a difference between first and second page load).

Is there any setting possible (e.g. un .htaccess) to avoid tis?

    Best

That’s normal behaviour, first load is dynamic. You should check your plugin usage, make sure you use PHP 7.3 or 7.4 and generally that your site loads fast without full-page caching.

All plugins work the same way. Some utilize cache pre-loading but we’re not doing this because we’re not using file-based caching but an NGINX as a reverse proxy instead which is way better.

This said, content that’s regularly accessed should remain in the cache basically indefinitelly unless modified.
