• Hello

I would be delighted if people can review my site:

    https://www.go2malawi.com/blog/

I am very new to PHP, CSS, but have a basic knowledge of html.

Things I would like to do include (other than more content, which will come over the coming month) are:

    1. html form for people to subscribe to my Friday in Malawi Emagazine. I would like to put this somewhere on the sidebar. (I have the html, but do not know where to put it.)

    2. Logo’s which will serve as advertisements for some of my clients, again, these will go into the sidebar.

That is it for now, may ask for more from the experts later!

    Thanks in advance!

  • u ll hav to edit ur sidebar.php located in ur theme folder.

I like it; it is nice and clean with lots of whitespace. This is what our clients are asking for more and more frequently. I/we have not yet made the time to create a new design with WordPress, so kudos to you for taking the time and making the effort.

Will this template be available for use by others?

    Hi sfrasier66

It’s not my design, although I have been tweaking it a bit, where I can.

GenericSuperhero – thats good – do I just enter in the html code even though its a php file??

You should able to enter normal HTML into any of your Theme’s templates. The only catch would be that the HTML may not be valid XHTML (your blog’s current Doctype). So, check your validation after adding the code. If it’s not valid XHTML, it should be easy to convert, and the validator should explain the changes that need to be made.

Thank you macmanx, I will try it out.

Also, whilst this is still my thread, does anyone know how to center images on a page and justify text?

I have just made a draft venue review for my friend in Malawi – https://www.go2malawi.com/blog/?page_id=19 – but for some reason, double lines kick in plus I would just like to have the text and images appear more ‘presentable’.

    Thanks!
