Edit: An arising issue got fixed quickly by the developers. Very responsive and helpful support.

I installed the plugin last week. Looked and worked great.
Today I followed the update notification, latest version is 0.4, which broke the feed. No images are displayed anymore.

Hey @picturebreeze, can you please send us a link to the page where the broken feed is embedded? We’re not aware of any other reports of this so I’ll be happy to help you get it fixed.

No, I can’t. The site is locally hosted, still in development. As I said, it worked well since last week, but not after the latest update today.

Okay, no worries, we can help anyway. Can you please start a live chat over at spotlightwp.com so I can take a closer look for you? I may need some screenshots since the site is a local one.

@geinergv the issue for this is unrelated to the load more button itself, it’s an issue with the feed image thumbnails being unavailable. We’re aware of the issue and will have a fix available as soon as possible. I’m really sorry about this.

Same issue, @geinergv, any feeds not showing posts are related to this problem. I’ll let you know as soon as the fix is available.

Here’s what happened… Instagram deprecated its legacy oEmbed API two days ago, which means that Spotlight has to use a different API to get the thumbnail images for the feeds. The temporary solution we implemented in today’s update (v0.4) has failed after some time, so tomorrow’s fix will be a permanent one to replace it.

@picturebreeze, @geinergv, this issue has been temporarily fixed and your feeds should be working fine again.

The permanent fix is in the works and will be available in our next update later today or tomorrow.
