    Hello,

We recently updated WordPress to 4.9.6 and WooCommerce to 3.4. We use Fishbowl Inventory as our inventory software, which is linked to our WooCommerce store by Fishbowl’s WooCommerce plug-in. After the update, shipping carrier methods stopped coming through to Fishbowl correctly. Everything is going to the default (UPS Ground), including expedited orders, like UPS 2nd Day Air. Manual mapping is not working either. We’ve had Fishbowl support remote in and they can’t figure out why. Is anyone else experiencing this and/or perhaps knows a fix? Thank you for your time!

    Hi @drwilsons

I’m afraid for support with this, we’d need to direct you back to Fishbowl support.

If they are looking for changes to WooCommerce to locate what has changed, I’d recommend linking them to the developer blog (https://woocommerce.wordpress.com/) or the main code repository (https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce).

Although this issue is with a third-party integration and not a support query for the WooCommerce plugin, I will leave this forum topic open so anyone else with comments can contribute.

If a solution has been found, please comment and mark this as resolved.

    Thanks,

    Hi Doug,

No worries – we have reached back out to them with this information. Thank you for your help!

The problem was with the shipping Method ID not specifying the specific shipping service, it only sent “UPS”. This may have been caused by the WooCommerce UPS Shipping plugin. The integration could be customized though to use the Shipping method title instead of the Method ID for mapping the specific service information for their orders.

    Hi all,

I’ll mark this as resolved for now since there isn’t anything we could do on the WooCommerce side to update the Fishbowl integration. But as they’d replied the issue may have come from an update to the WooCommerce UPS extension, though it’s not clear here if this was our UPS integration or another one.

Nonetheless, hopefully things are working now for everyone as they should.
