Fitting the tabs into multiple rows

FYI I paid ~500 $ for dream weaver 5.5 and like 6 months later all my sites built with it no longer worked… I still have an axe to grind with A dobe over that.

It sounds like you have a lot of pages and you want a visible menu to every one. What is your thought about using Sub Menus based on logical groupings. A person hovers over the About icon and then the Map, Contact, Company History, I.E menu options all show up. If a large part of your page is just menu links it won’t grab peoples attention. Text is boring.

Just please please please do not pull a microsoft UI and double stacked nav. I hate that UX and will fight till my last breath against it. Reason = 40 % of View port used for menu = Wasted space.

@lestexas60 back in the early days there was a ux concept that was called 1 click access. the concept was that one should be able to go anywhere on the website from any current location. This worked great when the only screen available was a 1024×768 SVGA and 5 pages was a corporate site. As times changed and tech got more screen sizes and page count became a value of a site the concept had to be abandoned. If you ever find a way to to re-enact 1 click access concept in today’s environment you will be the next Jeff Bozos.

The closest thing to it now is called the 3 click concept, of which I am a supporter.

LOL, Jerimiah, I love the “Back in The Old Days” comment. I got my firat computer in 1983 and did my first website about 1995 with MS Publisher. Yes one click was easy for non-tech people, which was most of the population. Looking at the new design of websites, it seems One-Click is making it’s way back but it’s links tied to Round images on the Home/Landing Page.

Things never stay the same but they do conceptually cycle back eventually.

Hey @jeremiah01292, that’s right.

Previously all it took was some CSS + HTML on Weebly, and it worked. But as you mentioned, it might be on HTML4 and not 5.

If Elementor isn’t able to replicate, then I’ll opt for CSS to get the job done.

@lestexas60, it’s not all about texts as I incorporate images too. The reason behind this is because I plan to categorize those tabs under User Interface, so each tab describes interface A, B and so forth.

A lot of older clients still ask for everything on one page. I recently had a client that did not want his site to scroll… Imagine coding that in word press…
