Five New Feature Ideas
-
I know you already said you are planning on adding an option in the settings to add related links to pages. Know that this is still on the top of my list of features to add.
Below is a few more ideas too. Just stuff to think about. Thank you for all your amazing work on this plugin. I love it!
A Few Feature Ideas:
1. Maybe the default setting for the “Add links to Posts” checkbox in the setting, should be set to checked when installed. Also, maybe some how connect this check box to the “Related Links Blender” editor in the posts editor pages. What I mean is to make it so that if you uncheck “Add links to Posts” in the settings, the Related Links editor will not even be visible on any of the post editor admin pages. This might help dummies like me not mistakenly think they are adding links in the editor that they will not show up in the front end. (does that make sense?)2. I would be great to have a confirm pop up message when a delete button is clicked in the related links editor, something like:
“Confirm that you want to delete this link.” “Yes Delete Link” | “No Cancel”3. It might be nice to create a checkbox in the settings, that would let you reset all settings (code and everything) to the default code and settings.
4. Maybe add a little texture or something on the left edge of each of the related links in the post editor. This might help new users understand that they can drag and drop the related links to reorder them.
5. Might be nice to make it possible to search for pages too in the related links editor, to make it quick to also link to pages.
