• The plug-in download site doesn’t provide a overview of the popularity of a plugin. So I’m just trying to get a sense here.

So what are the five plugins you can’t live with out?

• Where can I find the WP contact form plugin? And, is it 1.2 compatible?

It’s here but it’s for 1.5

Yeah, but until drdave and I join forces to try to take over the world, it’ll have to do. ??

Ugh. I guess I can add that to my list as one more thing to make me switch from 1.2 to 1.5. I actually have 1.5 installed on another domain, but I have yet to try to upgrade my other site. I figured if it ain’t broke don’t fix it.

tictagtoe! Gotta love putting <wikipedia > tags around words to link directly to the wikipage!

Interesting read people.

Mine are, in no particular order…

IImage Browser 1.4.1
Random Posts 1.1
Spam Karma 1.18 alpha 3 (I’ll get this updated on the weekend)
WP-ContactForm 1.0
Backup Restore 1.5

I have a few others but there are the ones that I wouldn’t want to be without

Cheers for the read.

I really like WP-Gatekeeper

I’d like to know what https://ryanduff.net/wp-plugins/wp-contactform/ is, but i’m getting an error 500

I should not say that as an author of them but:o)
Polyglot for multilingual posts and stuff like that.
IImage Browser to handle images.
IImage Gallery as the simplest gallery for WP that I know.

And from other guys: Backup Restore

I forgot about Kitten’s Spaminator

Admin Bar Plugin
Page Navigation
Search Pages
Reduced Rewrite
Customizable Post Listings
Optimal Title
Post teaser

It’s more than 5, but I have more than 1 blog.

1. Markdown
2. DropdownGetLinks <https://typedby.com/archives/category/word-press/>
3. Kitten’s Spam Words
4. RunPHP
5. Kitten’s Spaminator

Four I use since 1.5 are:
Search Hilite – Highlights search results for people coming after Google, yahoo queries
Run PHP – Allows embedding php code in posts
Witty Text – Allows embedding random quote from a text file
Follow URL – Disables rel=nofollow tagging on all comments and comment author url’s

I have disabled Staticize, AuthImage, Trackback Moderate, Pingback Moderate and lot of other plugins because either they do not work under wordpress 1.5 or mostly because they are not useful to me anymore.

There’s a fancy tooltips plugin? I’ll have to go look for that one.

1. Kitten’s spaminator
2. Kitten’s spam words
3. Scriptygoddess’ paginate
4. Alex King’s style switcher
5. Gravatar because it’s fun ??

Can`t u people post the links along with the plugins u like ??

Reposting with hyperlinks following Sr-ultimate’s advice.

Four I use since 1.5 are:
Search Hilite – Highlights search results for people coming after Google, yahoo queries. This one is from Matt. I couldn’t find a live link to it. You can look in https://photomatt.net/. I can also forward you the php file if you like.
