• Can someone please tell me how to fix this error.

The GWT forum said it was likely because I had not set a preferred domain.
    www
    or NO wwww
    http
    https

I set the preferred domain and I still get the redirect error.
I only know how to do a 301 redirect with a plugin, no such plugin is installed on my site.

So I don’t know how this URL got redirected or how to get it undirected.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Looks to me like CloudFlare is doing that. Possibly as part of providing you with https.

To see if that’s the problem I think you can just turn off the ‘orange’ cloud in your CloudFlare control panel and retest. Turning off the Orange Cloud stops the CloudFlare proxy service but allows the CloudFlare DNS to continue running as your DNS service for your domain.

You want to keep the CloudFlare DNS… that’s one of the best DNS services out here and it’s free.

I’m not sure why this is an issue though. The site seems to be working just fine. Did I miss something?

I’d keep the whole Cloudflare service myself unless it was breaking something. You might ask CloudFlare support for help also depending on what problems you are experiencing.

It only shows up in GWT. In analytics I can look for traffic on that URL and find it. I have to search manually, because it is not indexed, but I can find it.

In GWT in Search under Indexing it says it is not a part of my property. It won’t be indexed until the 301 error goes away.

CloudFlare says it is because I have not set a Site Preference in GWT. examples”
    www
    or
    no www
    http
    httpS

I set a preference for NO www and it still won’t index it. There is no preference for http and httpS, so I could not change that/

I don’t know what is going on. maybe I will put in a ticket instead of asking on the cloudflare board.
    ….Edit………..
I just put in the ticket. If they say anything interesting, you know, that might effect other people’s sites too, I will update the board here.

    And

    Thank you
