Fix Appreciated| /?Cat=-1 Error in Google Search Console

Good Day,
We’re getting the following Google Search Console Error:
Server error (5xx). These pages aren’t indexed or served on Google:
https://www.mysite.com/?cat=-1It appears one of your recent plugin updates — or WordPress updates — may have triggered the above.
We tried the solution posted in the first link below. Unfortunately, not working for us.

Could modifying our robots.txt file help solve this? For example, using: Disallow: /?c=-1
