Sorry to hear that you’re having an issue with the wp-options table not being present. I would first use a MySQL client like phpMyAdmin and look to see if the table is present in your database. If not, then you should either restore from a backup, or you may have to replace the table from another installation – but that installation should basically be identical to what you were currently using until that error occurred. The intent being that you want to have an identical table that you can export and then import into your current installation. The options table is necessary for WordPress to properly work. I know that this doesn’t give you a reassurance that it can definitely be fixed, but if you do get everything working (by re-installing or recovery) – make sure that you keep an up-to-date backup of your installation at all times. Sorry for all the frustrations with the database.
