    Hi there,

    Apologies if this has already been covered elsewhere.

    We’re looking to offer £5 off when a customer spends £50 on their basket.

    The coupon code is set to exclude Product A, but includes all other products.

    Example basket:
    – Product A x 1 = £50
    – Product B x 1 = £50
    Basket total: £100

    In this scenario, our coupon code won’t apply, despite the basket total including over £50 of valid, non-excluded products.

    Is there any way around this, or is this just a limitation of the WooCommerce coupon system?

    Hi @kumoink

    This is the default expected behaviour of WooCommerce core coupons. If you want to extend the functionality to allow the Product A to be in the cart but not have the discount applied, you would need to look into custom coding or another plugin that would add this to your site.

    Smart Coupons is a great plugin that should work for your scenario:
