Hi, i’ve a fixed header. When an required field is empty on the checkout page, the page is scroll up to the notices, in order to see the notice with all errors.

BUT in my case, like i’ve a fixed header, the scroll up is too short, and we don’t see the notice with all error (see the attached screen).

What can i doo to scroll up more, in order to see the notice integraly ?

    regards

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • I don’t have that problem on your checkout page. Looks good for me. However, I’m not logged-in of course, so don’t have the toolbar. Try it without the toolbar.

    Dashboard > Users > Profile
“Show Toolbar when viewing site” = not checked

I’ve made a test as a guest. We see a little bit more but not but that’s not enough

On my official live website it’s worse, we don’t see at all the notice : https://i.gyazo.com/ff83623a57a66e034094b64a417ef278.png

We need to scroll up manualy to see it : https://i.gyazo.com/5e18f26eadd684dcc11d8e16c6389c35.png

JQuery is programming code which runs inside the user’s browser. “Scroll to notices” is jQuery code which can detect if notices are present, and if so, automatically scroll the page so the notices can be seen.

If you’ve googled “scroll to notices” you’ll have found some code examples, and you can try these in a snippets plugin. Unfortunately, themes vary slightly, so the examples may not work for your theme. If you’re not into jQuery or Javascript, you’ll find it difficult to tweak the examples to get them to work for you.

It looks like you have a popular and well supported commercial theme. You could ask the theme vendor’s support service if they can implement scroll to notices on the next version, or maybe they have some code that works with their theme.

    You could post a job:

The right developer will make short work of installing the code.

www.ads-software.com forum members don’t have access to commercial themes, so its unlikely someone will be able to provide a working snippet through the forum.
