Fixed permalink for all subdirectory sites?

    I can’t seem to find a way to set a fixed permalink for each new site created from the main network site.
    I would like to set all of the sites to have the same permalink setting but on the other hand, am not sure if that’s such a good idea.

    The reason I was thinking of doing that is to make sure that our main site is well indexed.
