Fixed sidebar?

Hi there, adding this to a Writr child theme fixed the sidebar for me:

#masthead {
	position: fixed;
}

Let me know how it goes!

p.s. that only works if there are no widgets in the sidebar. ??

Thank you! It works and serves my purposes just fine. I sacrifice a few widgets, but they aren’t as crucial as the navigation menu.

An easy way to add custom CSS is to install the Jetpack plugin and activate the Custom CSS module. You’ll then add your custom CSS in the new stylesheet editor that’ll appear in your dashboard, under Appearance > Edit CSS.

As alternatives, you could either install a standalone custom CSS plugin, or create a child theme.

Unless you’re adding it to your site via a custom menu widget, it’s not a widget.
