Fixing page misalignment on WooCommerce shop pages

I’m experiencing a frustrating problem with page display postion on all these WooCommerce pages:

main shop page
catgory pages (EXCEPT empty category pages)
product pages
cart (EXCEPT when empty)
checkout

On these pages, the postion of the page content moves about 10 pixels to the left as compared with Home page and other non-WooCommerce pages on the site (contact, about). Can anyone recommend some CSS code to remedy this problem? I tried rebulding the site on a separate wp install but the same problem occurs as soon as I add a product to the shop.

It’s very jarring to see the page jump back and forth depending on which site page is loaded. Hopefully someone can help. BTW I am using the Astra theme for my shop. Thanks, Alberto
