Fixture vs Event?

    I am just getting started with this but I am wondering what a fixture vs event is? I am trying to put in a football schedule and I do not know whether to use fixture or event. I want to csv import. Whats the difference between the 2?

    Hi @djtech2k,

    With Fixtures Import you can import basic event details (matchday, date and time, teams, season and league). Its more lightweight so you can import more events than Event Import.

    With Event Import you can import all the details of an event (i.e. Players, Players stats) plus the basic details mentioned above). It is a very demanding script so most of the time you cannot import more than 3-4 events per import. We are in the process to obsolete this tool actually with a more advanced Fixtures Import.

    For both tools there are sample csv files for testing.
