I am running Woo Commerce on three different websites, and we need to charge sales tax on any orders that ship within the State of Florida.

We’ve never had a problem until today, when a new order came thru with the incorrect tax amount. We have it set to collect 8.5% but it collected less than that.

I have had it set to collect based on Customers address, and it has always worked in the past. I changed it to collect based on our address, and now it charged someone from California, sales tax.

I have not updated to the newest version of Woo yet, because I see there have been some issues with it.

Does anyone have any idea why the tax collection isn’t working properly?

    Thanks for any info.

    Hi @photomj,

Are you able to replicate the FL tax issue? Could you send screenshots of your tax setup? URL to your site?

Thanks for the response. When I investigated it, I found one product that didn’t have sales tax attached to it, which is why the total was off. I thought I had caught all that, during the import of products, but apparently missed it.

    Thanks.
