Hi,

My problem is that the Flag Switcher is not showning the flag but a Text. It’s starts to happened when I updated Polylang plugin to newest version. This happens both on computer and on mobile.

This problems occurs in Safari and Firefox and Chrome

When I preview the site in Elementor Show Country Flag option works wrong but Show Language Name works ok.

If something broke when you updated WordPress to version 5.5, then a very probable cause could be that some since long time deprecated functions in JQuery library were called.
WordPress 5.5 stopped loading “jQuery Migrate” and that has lead to that many very old plugins and themes suddenly stopped working.

So you could try a quick band-aid by using https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/enable-jquery-migrate-helper/
However, if that solution seems to help – remember that it’s only a temporary solution. Whatever plugin/theme is calling these retired functions should be updated by their respective developer and/or you should try to find a more up-to-date replacement for them.

@frankovic try using https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-rollback/.
Make sure you backup everything, just in case. ??

Thank you @lsantana it helped. Downgrading to 2.7.4 fixed the flags issue.

YIPPEEEEE!!!

We had an issue with the language switcher and its been resolved. The issue was not our plugin.

Please update Polylang to the latest version. (2.8.1) and elementor to version 3.0.1
