Flags in main menu AND mobile menu

    Hi
    I can have the flags showing in the main menu of computers OR in mobile menu. Not both. So strange this basic option is not set…
    I have chosen the main menu option. How can I keep it that way and add the flags to the mobile menu ?

    I have seen that this question has already been asked, but the answers did not work for me. If I have to add code somewhere, can you please be very simple and clear with the instructions for I am a beginner.

    + As suggested in another post, I have tried the “floating widget” options but don’t like it :
    – in desktop, the flags are not aligned with the menu,
    – in mobile, the flags show above the hamburger although I expect them only in the drawer.

    Hi,

    Usually themes are responsive and adding it on desktop menu automatically means that it is also added for mobile menu.

    If your theme is specific and it has 2 menus one for desktop and another one for mobile you can place it manually. There are many ways including using [gtranslate] shortcode. Try with Shortcodes in menus plugin.

    We recommend using a responsive theme, so you do not have a duplicate code.

    Thanks for your answer but… I don’t understand.
    My theme is responsive and, as far as I understand how it works, only one menu.

    What shortcode should I use and where ?

    Check “Shortcodes in Menus” plugin. To render our language selector you can use [gtranslate] shortcode.

    Sorry, I don’t understand. Do you mean I have to add another plugin ?
    And place “[gtranslate]” somewhere ?
