First of all the plugin is absolutely amazing and easy!
I know there is no option to show the flag/navigation next to eachother but only dropdowns. My client really wants this so I have to do it custom.
    There is only one problem.

    Links become as followed:
    website.com/en/about
    and not
    website.com/about/en

Is there anyway you can advise me to generate the links automatically with variables?
Or explain to me how I can generate the link on a certain page so that it reads:
    [website]/en/[currentpage]

Any help would be much appreciated!

    Hello,

1)You can add the languages as menu items by going to Appearance->Menus->Language switcher.

The floating language switcher that you are currently using can’t be modified in the way that you want to.

2)Could you please provide more details regarding what you want to achieve?

Links are structured in this way : website.com/en/about .

Also, a link to your website would help me understand the issue better.

Keep me updated on this matter!

    Hi,

Thanks for getting back to me so soon!
    Link: https://www.vanderlinden.net/

    What I want to achieve:
Make custom flags in the header that link to.
One for dutch: This links to the current page but dutch
One for eng: This links to the current page but eng

If the links were structured like website.com/about/en this would allow me to simply link to “/en” and it would set the current page to english.
I would like to know how I could customize this so that I can have the flags next to eachother in the top menu instead of the current dropdown.

    Thanks so much again!

    Hello,

As I have said in the previous message, you can have the flags next to each other by adding them as a menu item.

However, changing the structure of the link into : website.com/about/en is not possible with our plugin – this current structure is how we insert the language slug.

Let me know if you have any more questions!

    One more problem:
The flags are not displaying mobile?

    Hello Cam,

It might be due to the CSS of the header.

When you are in the mobile version, the left side is pulled to the middle and the right side dissapears.

You could add the language items in the menu , next to “Contact”.

Let me know how it goes!

    Best wishes,

    Dragos,
Thanks again for your speedy reply!

The problem is that the client wants the flags the way they are now in the top-bar on the Desktop version. Is there a way to have the floating language flags mobile only?

    Kind regards,
    Cam

    Hello again Cam,

    >Is there a way to have the floating language flags mobile only?

Unfortunately there is no way to achieve this.
