• I have the Flash Video Player (https://www.mac-dev.net/) plugin playing video. It also shows the playlist appropriately. However, the control bar loads and the black line representing the length of the video scrolls across in 5 seconds, then the video begins playing and the play button turns back from a pause image to a play image. There is no way to stop or pause the playback. This is reproducible in FF, Safari and IE. Grabbing and moving the slider has no effect on the movie playback. Using the fast forward button starts the video from the beginning again.

    Thoughts?

  • I dunno. but noscript hates your page — you have more extraneous “crap” loading on the blog in your profile than a lot of women’s sites I know that monetize the shit out of their sites..

Yeeaaa. I know. https://realityme.net/ is for fun and over the years I have put stuff in it and taken stuff out and cleaning it up is way down on the list of round tuits. Much larger fish to fry.

[resolved] The SWFs were built using Swish which put its own player into the swf. Playing a player within Flash Video Player did not work. Using the original flv worked fine.

I am not so clear what’s your meaning. But as I know, the FLV files are needed to be exported to a SWF file, and use HTML code to embed the SWF to web page. The SWF file is a flash video player to control th playback of FLV files.
You can use Moyea web player pro. With it, you can easily make a flash video player for your website and publish videos to web pages.
