• I know it is very difficult (or rather tedious) to integrate .swf movies into posts. However, with the help of some plug-ins and tweaking I’ve managed to do it.

The way my .swf file works is that it gets the url for an image (as specified in the actualy code on the page that the flash movie reads) and then displays it in its content.

I am able to have it do this but I also want the size of the flash movie change as the width of the viewers window changes. I’m using a 3 column (vesuvius-like) layout and I’ve managed to get it to display somehow, but it tends to hide behind or flow over certain divs, and it doesnt resize proportionally within its given space constraints.

I’d really appreciate any help or guidance, and if you’d like to see the WP page in question, etc, just ask.

    Thank you.

any help? it is simple but i am new

Can’t you just set the width value to 100%? (instead of fixed px)

When I do, it overflows onto another div, so I tweak it to say 80% but then its not proportionaly resized. My main issue is that it does not stay sized relative to the width between the two columns on my 3col layout. It overflows…and with different effects in both IE and FF.

    Any ideas?

Maybe I am using the wrong plugin?
