• Hello there
    I am asking for your help ,I am using the Flashy titles plugin for sIFR in my blog yet I am having a problem with H1 and its font size, I wanted to be 15 pixels yet it appears to be bigger than that
    this size
    already it is the same size in the stylesheet

    I am using the latest version which is 1.4.3

    Are you sure that you are editing the correct stylesheet? You must edit the styles for your current theme (not others) for them to take effect.

    Note that sIFR 2.x does a ‘best match’ against the size of the box of the to-be-replaced text, then tries to size the replacement to fit. So I think things like width:100% can ‘confuse’ the algorithm. Also wrapping lines can do the same. For 2.x, you need to ensure that the replacement font matches the source font in per-glyph sizing pretty closely.

    NOW, that said, sIFR 3 (and the upcoming CG-FlashyTitles 3) does a much improved job on the sizing, using a different approach/algorithm — but it is going to require new fonts as well.

    @tom,yes it is the correct stylesheet

    @david,well I changed the sifr font to another one and it is fine
    well I am waiting for the Flashytitles 3 and sIFR ,already I do my sIFR fonts by myself so it won’t be a problem as I always use the latest sIFR
