Thanks for providing some feedback on our plugin, and we’re sorry to hear you are disappointed with the introduction of advertising units on our visualizations. As you mentioned in your feedback, you are spot on that our costs are substantial. Between the datasets we license, the knowledge engineers we employ to make sense of the data, and the technology we’ve built to visualize the data, our costs are not insignificant.
Introducing flexible business models (https://publishing.graphiq.com/pricing/), including the use of advertising on visualizations for our Graphiq Basic customers, ensures that we’re able to continue offering interactive visualizations to everyone, regardless of their ability to pay for the visualizations themselves.
I also wanted to thank you for pointing out our incredibly outdated screenshots. We just updated those as we definitely want to make sure we are being accurate in our portrayal of the product!
