Flat files for part of site?
-
Hello all,
We have an internal process that generates flat documentation files for a product of ours in the Textile format (although we could literally switch to any type of markdown language). I’d like to be able to render these documentation files within my wordpress site using our theme and such. I know there are plugins out there that appear to allow us to import some forms of markdown into actual pages or posts in the database, but we literally have hundreds of files and they get updated quite frequently so it seems like importing them into the DB every time is a major headache.
Does anyone know if there is a plugin or page template out there that would allow me to render a flat markdown file into the content area of a wordpress site? It would be nice if this were done in a realtime fashion so that all we had to do to update the content would be to just upload the new files to the server.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
