flat_alt is not defined (Version 2.55 or 3.19 of Flag Gallery)

I get the error flag_alt is not defined, and none of the galleries are showing. The version of the gallery is 3.16 (the newest) I was running 2.55 and thought 3.16 would fix the issue, but it hasn’t.
