flavicon not showing in all browsers

  • Hi The flavicon for this site does not seem to show the current one I added in all browsers. It shows correct flavicon when viewed in Firefox, but not in Chrome or Edge. Not sure why it shows the default flavicon in those browsers. I updated under Appearance, Site Identity in Customize > Header Area > Site Identity…

  • Hi @kristad,

    Did you manage to set your site icon from Dashboard > Settings > General > Site Icon? If didn’t, try removing your current icon, and re-uploading it from General Settings screen.

    Yes I re uploaded the flavicon image via Dashboard?>?Settings?>?General?>?Site Icon and it still does not show on any browser except Firefox. Why would this be?

    Hi @kristad,

    Are you running the latest version of WordPress? Try updating in case you aren’t yet. See how WP core update resolves your issue.
