Flawless

  • Hey There

    Loving this plugin – no more arbitrary logging into PHP MyAdmin for simple keeping my local staging and production servers in sync – exactly what I needed.

    I’ld really like to be able to set permissions with this plugin, to only allow pulls from remotes, basically so that we can set it up and allow the whole dev team to pull from the staging DB without the risk of pushing even being a possibility.

    Is this possible or a future feature you have considered ?

  • If you trust your devs but just don’t want them to accidentally push you can just remove the push part of the sync-screen.php file in /wp-content/plugins/database-sync. Doesn’t make it impossible but you wouldn’t be able to do it by accident anymore.

    Hi Paul, yes this is a feature I’ve been meaning to add. I don’t know when I’ll next have the time but its at the top of my list.
