• The only experience I’ve ever had migrating a site was several years ago and it was SO bad I’ve never tried it again. But this was fast, painless, and apparently perfect. At least I haven’t seen any problems yet.

    The one thing I would suggest: warn people that when they transfer an existing site, the new site will use the previous site’s login credentials. I guess it stands to reason, but you go to all the trouble of creating login credentials when you install the basic WP site, only to have to go back and get the old site’s login data — that is, once you REMEMBER that that might be the problem you’re experiencing logging in.
