Flex Slider Image Settings

I am using the Amadeus theme and have a FlexSlider embedded on my home page. I was just brought in on this project and have a few questions.

– Where is the FlexSlider actually embedded? I can’t find it on my defined “home” page, and when I inspect the PHP files, it is somewhere in “g1-precontent.php” between “g1-inner.php” and “g1-background.php”. I then inspect these files, and no where can I find the FlexSlider embedded. Is it using a shortcode somewhere? Very confused here.

– My big question though is why does it automatically crop my slider images to 1800px x 360px? This is not the ratio is which to use and I cannot seem to find where you can define media settings for FlexSlider.
