Flex slider settings to edit more than one slider

Hi there,
I have just set up flexslider to work with my custom fields area.
I have linked the Javascript files and css so they load and I have a slider on my home page and another which can be added to any page when a client populates the image area from my custom field.
All works fine, except how do I edit the size and style of each slider? When I change one it effects the other and I want multiple sliders across the website.
I think I am definately missing a vital step in the process, I tried changing the class name but then it stopped working?!

I want the top slider to be on a continuous loop, scale proportionally and be a full image at a time.
