Flex Theme Categories

  • I am using a flex theme for my website engravedpersonalization.com. The majority of this theme works like most WP themes as far as the widgets etc. On the left sidebar I added a categories widget to display all categories. I have made two categories. I can’t get the categories to appear on the sidebar. Can anyone tell me what I’missing.I tried adding posts and then catyegorize them but nothing.

  • I’m sorry but as you are using a commercial theme, you need to seek support from the theme’s vendors.

    I had the issue a free theme as well so it must be me not knowing not the template not performing.I also have WP ecommerece installed categories seem to be uncategorized. I don’t believe it has anything to do with the commercial template.

    what free theme?

    have you tried the default theme Twenty Eleven, using the ‘categories’ widget?

    how many posts with these categories do you have?

    do you have any problems assigning categories to posts?

    have you tried the other widget areas in your theme, using the default ‘categories’ widget?

    what is the respond by the theme’s seller/author?

    This an estore. No posts just categories with products.I am only testing to get it right at the moment only one product in one category. I can’t even get the product page to show.
