Hello, i use flexible shipping on a german customer site. My shipping costs depends on the products taxes. (german law)

I also use 2 plugins in combination with woocommerce: German Market and B2B Market . I use flexible shipping only for the B2B customers.

For example, if a french B2B customer buy stuff for 350 €, the shipping costs are 15€. If he use a valid VAT number, the tax are removed from those 15€. In a case of 7% Tax, the user would only have 14,02€ shipping costs. I want that the flexible shipping rule costs should be without taxes and not with it.
So without valid VAT number, he should pay (15 * 1,07) = 16,05€ and with a valid one 15,00€.

I also tried to change the flexible shipping tax status to “taxable”, but i get the same result as with “none”.

Is it possible to change the functionality somewhere?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi,

In WooCommerce, the shipping cost is always entered without tax (you can check this on the Flat Rate shipping method). The tax calculation is done by WooCommerce or other plugins.

In Flexible Shipping, you can only specify whether a given shipping method is taxable. WooCommerce handles the calculation of the tax amount.
