flexmls IDX plugin conflicts with Flexslider

    I have this flexmls IDX plugin installed and it conflicts with my Flexslider on the home page. When I place the flexmls IDX:search widget in my sidebar the slider doesn’t display. If I remove this widget but place another widget in the sidebar the slider displays.

    In my console I have these errors relating to the flexmls IDX plugin:

    Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘msie’ of undefined connect.min.js?ver=3.8.1:1

    Uncaught TypeError: Object [object Object] has no method ‘autoSuggest’ connect.min.js?ver=3.8.1:1

    How do I fix this?

    We were able to fix it by using jQuery 1.8.3 instead of 1.10.2 that comes with the latest version of WordPress. I just changed the jQuery version back to 1.10.2 so you could see the error. The url is https://coldwellbankmp.seogondev.com/.

    If you go into the console to view the source you will see the div with and id of “homeslide”. It is there but not showing up when I use jQuery 1.10.2.

    Thanks for sharing that. I’ll look into this. Strange. Usually it is older versions of jQuery that cause the problems. You can switch it back to 1.8.3 now.
