    First off – thank you for an amazing plugin. We use this plugin regularly and it is so wonderful. Thank you. <3

    I believe I may have found a bug and would love your advice. I have tested this on several of our sites and have found this reproducible 100% of the time using both free and Pro versions of MetaSlider. This is specific to FlexSlider. In all cases no Theme has been selected for the Slideshows. I have followed the Troubleshooting guide and found this situation exists even in environments with no plugins and any default WordPress theme active.

    This bug occurs when:

    • Accessing Metaslider > Slideshow with FlexSlider
    • in the General [tab] of an Image Slide
    • Caption with Manual Entry selected
    • Adding text inside the caption content editor box
    • Using the Insert / Edit link function on a selection of text
    • Insert / Edit link settings select the Open link in… drop-down selection option to New window

    The open link in New Window setting is not working and/or carrying over to the front-end output of the slide captions when following the above process.

    In the back-end we see:

    <body id="tinymce" class="mce-content-body " data-id="caption_override_13701" aria-label="Rich Text Area. Press ALT-0 for help." contenteditable="true" spellcheck="false">

    <h2>2024-2024</h2>
    <h1>UAP Theme Announced!</h1>

    <p><strong>"Get In The Game!" Sports</strong> - Track &amp; Field, Football, Hockey, Soccer, Volleyball, Basketball, Golf &amp; Baseball&nbsp;</p>

    <p><a data-mce- title="Summer Checklist" target="_blank" rel="noopener" data-mce-selected="inline-boundary">Get Your Summer Checklist Now!</a><br data-mce-bogus="1"></p>
    </body>

    On the front-end we see:

    <div class="caption">

    <h2>2024-2024</h2>

    <h1>UAP Theme Announced!</h1>

    <p><strong>"Get In The Game!" Sports</strong> - Track &amp; Field, Football, Hockey, Soccer, Volleyball, Basketball, Golf &amp; Baseball&nbsp;</p>

    <p><a title="Summer Checklist" >Get Your Summer Checklist Now!</a></p>

    </div>

    The target=”_blank” is not coming through on the front-end output relative to the back-end settings.

    Please reference the attached screenshots and let me know if there is any additional information I can help provide. Thank you again for this great plugin and thanks in advance for any advice on this. ??
